環保餐具是（shì）所用材料對人體無害，無味，易降解，生產製造、使用和銷毀過程均（jun1）無汙染，產品質量符合食（shí）品衛生要求，產品用完後具有易回收、易處置或易消納等（děng）特點的食品容器。環保餐具不等於降解餐具，降解餐具隻是環保餐具中的一種類（lèi）型。目（mù）前市場上所用（yòng）的部分環保（bǎo）餐（cān）盒存在（zài）嚴重的質量問題(蒸發殘渣超標)，主要（yào）原因（yīn）是生產廠（chǎng）家為（wéi）降低產品成本在生產過程中大量使用碳酸鈣、滑石粉等礦物質以及廢塑料，導致飯盒中所填加的礦物質和添加劑等和食品中所含（hán）的水、醋、油等相互（hù）溶解，隨著人們所食用的食品進入人體內，從而引發消化不良、局部疼痛多種疾病。
